WE understand it can get unbearably hot, and these temps are no joke in Tucson. Literally deadly temperatures are here for the week, so here are some FREE cooling shelters to share with those who may be displaced at the moment.

Donna R. Liggins Center, 2160 N 6th Ave

Please Note: the Donna R. Liggins Recreation Center will be closed during its annual cleaning scheduled from Monday, July 28 to Saturday, August 2.

El Pueblo Center, 101 W Irvington Road Building #9

Please Note: the El Pueblo Recreation Center will be closed during its annual cleaning scheduled from Monday, August 25 to Sunday, August 31. The El Pueblo Center will be open Sunday, August 24.

Fred Archer Center, 1665 S La Cholla Boulevard

Please Note: the Fred Archer Recreation Center will be closed during its annual cleaning scheduled from Monday, July 28 to Wednesday, July 30.

Freedom Center, 5000 E 29th Street

Please Note: the Freedom Park Recreation Center will be closed during its annual cleaning scheduled from Wednesday, July 30 to Friday, August 1.

Morris K. Udall Center, 7200 E Tanque Verde Road

Please Note: the Morris K. Udall Recreation Center will be closed during its annual cleaning scheduled from Monday, August 11 to Sunday, August 17. The Morris K. Udall Recreation Center will be open on Sunday, August 10.

Randolph Center, 200 S Alvernon Way

Please Note: the Randolph Recreation Center will be closed during its annual cleaning scheduled from Monday, August 4 to Sunday, August 10. The Randolph Recreation Center will be open on Sunday, August 3.
