Google just released their annual "Year in Search" data, which shows the top trending searches in the U.S. this year.

Here's how the country music world figured into those results:

1. Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani were the #1 searched celebrity duo in all of America. They beat out Justin and Hailey Bieber, who came in 2nd.

2. Ingrid Andress was the sixth most searched musician in 2024. Unfortunately, most of it was because of her disastrous national anthem attempt at the Home Run Derby.

3. "Fast Car" by Tracy Chapman and Luke Combs was the fifth most searched song all year. It's unclear whether it's Tracy or Luke's version, but both were listed. So, maybe it's their performance at the Grammys?

4. Country music had two tours in the Top 10 of most searched music tours in the U.S. Willie Nelson's Outlaw Music Festival tour came in fifth, and the Tucker Wetmore tour was ninth.

5. And Toby Keith's death was the most searched celebrity passing from last year. (R.I.P. Big Dog Daddy.)
