Lainey Wilson's new album "Whirlwind" is out this Friday, and to celebrate, here are some facts about her you might not have known:
1. When she was 9 years old, her mom bought her a pair of blue, leopard print bellbottoms. She has joked that since then, quote, "I don't think anyone's ever seen my ankles."
2. When she was a Hannah Montana impersonator, she would make around $400 bucks a gig. Sometimes they'd even let her sing original songs, too.
3. Lainey lived in a camper van when she was first trying to make it in Nashville. She said when a big storm would come in, she thought she was going to get blown away.
4. Luke Combs would actually visit Lainey in that trailer. They wrote Luke's song "Sheriff You Want To" there with Lainey on backup vocals.
5. Lainey has a "no-tongue" rule for kissing on-screen.
And this last one isn’t really a fact, just a conspiracy, Maybe Lainey just doesn't like PDA at all?
Because at the 2023 ACM Awards, she won an award, and she awkwardly hugged her boyfriend Devlin "Duck" Hodges. It was their first time appearing together, so she joked that if she won, maybe they should shake hands instead.
