Lainey Wilson was doing a show the other night and she started to swoon talking about her man. His name is Devlin Hodges, he's a former NFL quarterback, and he goes by the nickname "Duck".
Some fans were wondering what was the inspiration for her new song, "4x4xU", and now we know. It's good ol' Duck.
Laineysaid, quote, "The truth is, I write what I know, and I finally found a man worth writing about."
The whole crowd loved this and cheered. She added, quote, "So you know it's a love song, because y'all probably thought dang, she ain't got it in her . . . But I do. I got me a cheerleader."
It's an extra cute thing to say given Duck's football background. But now, with as massive as Lainey is, he's smart to be HER cheerleader.
