Luke Bryan is such a huge star I think we sometimes forget how he got there. He did it by being a hit machine. There was a party the other day in Nashville honoring him for having 30 Number One singles on country radio.
Before the festivities began he was asked what it feels like to have that kind of success. He said quote, "When you're so focused in the trenches of all this, it's days like this where your career flashes in front of your eyes."
Here are some numbers: Luke's first-ever #1 on country radio was "Do I" back in 2009, and his most recent was last year's, "Country On". In all, he's spent 56 weeks at Number One. Luke's only 47, so he might even double that total.
