Kelsea Ballerini may have had to skip the chocolate yesterday after a bout with FOOD POISONING this weekend.
She started a show in Pennsylvania on Saturday by telling the crowd she might have to run backstage at any moment to THROW UP.
Quote, "I have had an intimate relationship today with the bathroom. I have a trash can waiting for me backstage. Things have been very touch and go."
She blamed it on some chicken dumplings she got from Trader Joe's.
The dumplings actually got a pretty big cheer from the crowd until she mentioned the food poisoning part.
She warned that she might not be jumping around on stage as much as she normally would, but that it was "for everyone's benefit." Then she riffed on her own lyrics and asked, "If I go down, will you go down with me?"
Luckily, she made it through the show WITHOUT puking, at least not while she was on stage.
