Remember when everyone started over-tipping waiters and delivery people to help out early in the pandemic? It looks like that trend might be coming to an end.

A new report from "The Wall Street Journal" says we're tipping less than we were a year ago, partly because the pandemic is easing, and because inflation is up. It's not a huge difference yet, but tips are starting to trend back down.

Most restaurants haven't seen a huge dip yet, the average tip is still around 21% if you're sitting down to eat. But tips at coffee shops and cafes are down from 17% to 15%. And tips at hair salons have dropped half a percentage point to just under 25%.
