Papa John's is currently hiring professional baseball players who aren't playing due to the MLB lockout. Atlanta Braves players Dansby Swanson and Joc Pederson already took up the offer and did a shift at a Georgia location.

Last Friday they made pizzas and folded boxes during their shift as a "Pre-Season Pizza Pro". All players who participate will receive the same benefits as regular employees.

Papa John's said in a Tweet, quote, "Are you a pro ball player with too much free time during a prolonged off season? If your team isn't doing much lately, why not join ours? . . .

"We'll put your talents to use catching orders, taking a swing at pizza making, and delivering the goods like you always have. You'll even get a new uniform. So join our team roster and apply today."

Dansby and Joc even shared videos of their initial interest in the job listing and why they'd be perfect for Papa John's.
