Remember this stat the next time you're about to roll your eyes or GO OFF on someone. A study found that being "agreeable" and easy to be around is helpful 93% of the time.
Researchers at the University of Arkansas and University of Minnesota took stats from 4,000 different studies, and analyzed the effect of "agreeableness" on 275 different life variables. Everything from salaries and promotions to relationship success.
They found that being agreeable and cooperative had a positive effect on 93% of them. So it's not helpful in just 7% of the situations we find ourselves in. No word on what those situations are though.
