Today, February 10th, is the 41st day of the year, and that's THE day, on average, that people abandon their New Year's resolutions.
And to celebrate, let's have CAKE!
So why are we all giving up? 40% say they're less motivated to change than they were on New Year's Eve, after maybe a few drinks.
29% say they're getting bored with sticking to the resolution.
And 28% say they're experiencing "complications." Basically, they're trying to imagine a Valentine's Day without sweets, a Big Game party without booze, or, you know, any day with more exercising.
Planet Fitness is trying to capitalize on this by dubbing tomorrow, February 11th, "Resolution Reset Day", to "remind everyone that it's not too late to renew your commitment" to change. At least for another 41 days.
