If you're traveling somewhere for Christmas, you probably won't leave until the 23rd at the earliest. That's what a new survey found at least.

53% of Americans say they plan to travel ahead of Christmas this year, and two-thirds will hit the road within two days of Christmas itself.

December 23rd, 24th, and the 25th all tied for the most popular day to travel this year. 66% of people who are going somewhere will travel on one of those three days, including 22% who are traveling ON Christmas. Most of those people are driving.

Another 9% are traveling on the 22nd, and 20% are traveling on the 21st, or earlier. (The other 6% said they still weren't sure when they'd travel. But the survey was conducted last month, so most have probably figured it out by now.)
