It's the first week of December. If someone said "Merry Christmas" to you today, would you say it back? A new poll asked when it's acceptable to start saying it. And almost three in four people think it's still too early.

30% said not until mid-December, another 28% said only during the week of Christmas, and 7% said not until Christmas Day.

28% said it IS acceptable now. That includes 21% who said it's okay starting on December 1st, 5% who said sometime in November, and 2% who think people should be allowed to say Merry Christmas 365 days a year.
