Morons in The News!

Are there any legit video rental stores in America now? Or are they all just fronts for criminal activity?

The owner of a video store in Massachusetts is facing charges for allegedly hiring people to shoplift from OTHER stores . . . and then selling the stuff on eBay.

John Duplease owns a place called Adopt a Video in Leominster, Massachusetts. (About 50 miles west of Boston.) And obviously he couldn't sell his own products . . . because who's gonna buy them?

The cops had been watching him for at least a year, and finally arrested him last weekend.

They say he had 26 different people working for him, who regularly stole stuff from stores like Walmart, Target, Home Depot, and CVS.

It's not clear how long he's been at it, but they say he's made over $1 million in profit. And when they searched his home and business, they found over 5,000 items worth more than half-a-million bucks.

He's facing charges for receiving stolen property and running an organized crime ring.
