FOX is in "preliminary talks" with the co-creators of "King of the Hill" about rebooting the show
Co-creators Greg Daniels and Mike Judge are said to be "excited" about the prospect but are also very busy
"King of the Hill" may be the next show to get a reboot. According to FOX CEO Dana Walden, the network is in talks to bring the animated series back.
“We have had preliminary conversations with [co-creators]Greg Daniel] and Mike Judge,” she says. “I would like to explore that. Given what’s going on in the country, I think they had a point of view about how those characters would respond.”
Walden goes on to say that Greg and Mike are excited at the thought of bringing the show back, but are also both busy so "it's about finding time."
“King of the Hill” originally ran on FOX from 1997 to 2009 and centered on Hank Hill and his family living in Texas.
