A family in England went camping over the weekend and set up their tent just two feet from the edge of a cliff . . . with a 280-FOOT drop. Someone spotted the tent and called the Coast Guard, and they went to the scene and got the family to move.
There's nothing like going on a camping trip where you're one strong gust of wind away from falling to your death in the middle of the night.
The Coast Guard in North Yorkshire, England got a call on Saturday afternoon after someone spotted a family's camping tent set up on a small patch of grass just two feet from the edge of a cliff. A cliff with a 280-FOOT drop.
Oh, and that area is known for landslides!
An officer says they explained the dangers to the two adults and the child in the tent and got them to move.
The cops also went to the scene to see if the family was breaking any Covid lockdown rules, but there's no word on whether they were.
Imagine setting up camp near the edge of Mt Lemmon? No Thanks!
