Zach Bryan’s wife, Samantha Leonard, “went out of her way” on the couple’s wedding day.
Bryan, 29, shared a photo of the bride on his Instagram story on Monday afternoon (January 5). Leonard, 28, wore a stunning strapless gown that included a personal touch, making it an emotional moment for the country star. He wrote on his story that “Samantha went out of her way to put my mom’s wedding dress lace on her dress and I cried for a good bit. Meant so much sweetheart, thank you.”
The “I Remember Everything” artist went on to share a photo of his late mother on the following slide of his story, adding that he wishes she could be there. Bryan’s mother, Annette, died in August 2016, and Bryan said around that time that “my mom was my best friend.”
Bryan and Leonard announced on New Year’s Eve that they’d said “I do” in a private ceremony in San Sebastian, Spain. Leonard has since shared photos on Instagram of the breathtaking venue, which appears to be Roman Catholic church Basílica de Santa María del Coro, per a report from PEOPLE.
