Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but sometimes you don't have the chance to sit down for a full meal of eggs, bacon, pancakes or even cereal. Thankfully, breakfast sandwiches gather all the best aspects of the meal into one cohesive, handheld dish perfect for someone on the go.
Using reviews, awards and accolades as well as first-hand experience, LoveFood compiled a list of the "best breakfast sandwich" in every state, from simple and understated classics to bites overloaded with cheese, toppings and sauces.
According to the site, two restaurants tied for having the the best sandwich in all of Arizona: the Avocado, Egg and Parmesan Croissant served at Buttered Up Bakery in Mesa and Scottsdale and the Breakfast Sammy at Worth Takeaway in Mesa. Here's what the site had to say about these superb sandwiches:

It features a fried egg, white Cheddar, and sriracha aioli, all sandwiched inside a soft brioche bun. Brought an appetite? You can add in avocado, bacon, ham, or sriracha-candied bacon to make it extra indulgent. The croque madame is another popular option that's just as tasty."
