First things first, never send anyone money on the internet who you don't know. And more importantly, never send it to someone saying they're a CELEBRITY. They have enough money, and don't need yours.

A woman in Texas learned a tough lesson recently, after she was convinced that Morgan Wallen was sending her messages online. So, naturally, she started sending "Morgan" a bunch of Apple Music gift cards. Maybe "Morgan" was a little short on cash, and just wanted to listen to some new tunes???

But, unfortunately, it didn't stop there. The woman also handed over her bank account information and social security number, and then the scammer stole more than $18,000.

When asked why the woman fell for the scam she said, "I needed validation at the time."
