Shaboozey's smash-hit "A Bar Song (Tipsy)" is now #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for the 19th week.
That ties him for the MOST all time. "Old Town Road" by Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus also got to 19 weeks back in 2019.
So clearly mixing hip-hop and country music is a proven winner. I wonder who will do it next. As for Shaboozey, he said that country music "resonates really strongly with him."
But he also said, "I love hip-hop. And I'm part of their community, too. That's what I want to do with my music, Be disruptive and show people that music is progressing
