Country music has seen countless duets over the years, but Billboard.com says these are the best of the best. They ranked the Top 20 male-female country duets of all time. Here are their top five:
1. "After the Fire Is Gone" by Loretta Lynn and Conway Twitty. (1971) It won them the Grammy for best performance by a duo or group.
2. "Jackson" by Johnny Cash and June Carter. (1967) It's about a couple that got married quick, and then the "fire went out." But in real life, they weren't actually married yet. They got hitched a year later in 1968.
3. "Islands in the Stream" by Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers. (1983) A lot of people don't know The Bee Gees wrote it. Kenny planned to do it solo, but eventually looped Dolly in
4. "Whiskey Lullaby" by Brad Paisley and Alison Krauss. (2004) It won Song of the Year at the CMA's.
5. "It's Your Love" by Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. (1997) It came out the year after they were married. It topped the Hot Country Songs chart for six weeks.
