We all know people who wait until the VERY last minute to pack for a trip, even if it has burned them in the past. But usually that's for a full-on vacation.
So how long in advance would you start packing your bags for a brief weekend getaway? Not surprisingly, plenty of people don't need much time.
In a poll, 18% of people said they do it the same day they leave, 27% will start the day before, and another 20% of people need a couple of days.
But 5% of people start packing one WEEK before, or even earlier than that.
Men are far more likely to pack the day they leave for the weekend trip, and Boomers are more likely to pack at the last minute than younger adults.
And I know you aren't going to believe this, but the numbers are pretty much EXACTLY the same between liberals and conservatives, so maybe that's the common ground: Time needed to pack for a short trip.
