Have you ever come across someone who reeks of perfume or cologne SO MUCH that you think it must be WORSE than whatever they might be covering up?
An anonymous man was recently sitting next to a woman on a plane who had REALLY overdone it with her perfume, to the point where he felt sick. And on top of that, she was using a VERY strong-smelling hand sanitizer. So he chose to mention that her "fragrance is very strong", and she apologized.
After the flight, she told him she has no sense of smell, that he made her very uncomfortable, and that he should be more sensitive to other people.
Now the guy is asking the internet if he was a JERK for speaking up, or if there's something else he should've done to handle it better. He also admits that he was grumpy after a day of flying and delays.
So far the comments on the thread seem to be fairly equally split.
